Water Pressure Issues:
There have been reports
of sporadic water pressure problems in
some
houses. The pressure regulator on your house’s incoming water line
may be worn out. Some symptoms of a worn out valve are:

Water Pressure in the shower is sporadic
in the morning when
other houses are using water.
·
Water Pressure in the shower falls
dramatically when a toilet is
flushed.
·
Sprinkler heads in back yard will go
down temporarily if a toilet
is flushed.
· Water will sometimes "spray" into the sink with excessive pressure.
· Pipes will "hum".
The valve regulates the
pressure coming into the houses. The valves
do wear out with time. The part that may need to be replaced is the
regulator in the incoming water line. This may not be the problem at
your house if you have these symptoms. Check with a Plummer if you
are unsure. A replacement regulator can be purchased at:
