Due to not enough ballots returned,
the ballots were not able to be counted at the meeting on October 15th.
Therefore, the Board has extended the voting period until Monday, November 12,
2007. If you have not already sent in your ballots, please do so.
It has been reported by your mail
carrier that mail is being stolen from the mailboxes. The mail carrier is suggesting that when putting
mail in your mailbox for her to take, please do not put up the flag. Thieves are
targeting those mail boxes. Also, for your own protection, NEVER put checks in
the mail boxes. It is better to go the extra step to a local mail box or your
local post office to mail your bills Or
use online bill paying which is available by most major banking institutions, If you see any suspicious behavior please
notify your local police department.
The pool will be closing on Monday,
November 25, 2007 for the season. After
this date, the pool may not be used until it reopens in the Spring
of 2008.
Please remember that your dues payment is to be sent directly to First Bank for processing. Do not send it to management as this will delay posting your payment to your account, and you may incur late fees. In addition, please remember that your payments are due the 1st of the month and considered late after the 20th. Payments must be received and posted by First Bank by the 20th to avoid late fees. You do not have to wait until you receive your statement to send in your payment. If you have any questions regarding your statement or payments, please contact your bookkeeper, Melanie at 925-243-1797, extension18.
If you walk your dog around the
community, please remember to use a leash at all times and to pick up after
your pet. This is not only a rule within the CC&Rs,
but is also governed by city laws, not to mention common courtesy. Likewise, if
you let your cat roam the community, you are also responsible to make sure to
clean up. Cats are notorious for digging in gardens, which can cause a lot of
problems for our landscapers. As a
reminder, cats roaming the community can be safely trapped and brought to the animal
shelter, where the owner must pay to retrieve the pet. Please be considerate to your neighbors. They
will appreciate your cooperation.
The next meeting will be the Annual Meeting held on
Monday, November 12, 2007, at Round Table Pizza,
