March 2007
With spring just around the corner, you may be thinking of making some improvements to your home. So it's a good time to remind everyone that no changes can be made to the exterior of your home without first seeking the approval of the Board of Directors. This includes items such as installing satellite dishes, changing your windows, slider doors, air conditioning equipment, and patio covers, etc. Be sure to contact management prior to any start of work to request of approval.
Please contact management if you notice any common area lights that are out. Since the handyman comes out during the day to replace the street lights, please be sure to include the light pole number so he can find the correct one.
Please remember that pets are not to urinate or defecate in the common area; if an accident occurs, please remove the waste promptly and make an effort to remove any associated odors. Pet waste should not be allowed to accumulate in the common area or your neighbor's front yard. (This includes cats, as owners that let their cats out are also responsible for policing the area and cleaning up any fecal matter.) Also, pets should be leashed while in the common area to help avoid pet accidents and for the safety of all residents. Please remember that pets are not allowed to be "curbed" inside the community or tied in the common area, including front yards. If an owner is witnessed to have allowed their pet to defecate in the common area or a neighbor's property, the cost for removal, etc. will be charged to your account. Allowing your pets to defecate and urinate in the common area will ultimately destroy the landscaping. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
The Association's bank offers owners the option of having their assessments deducted from their checking accounts each month at no additional charge. If you would be interested in using this service, please contact management for an application.
Many homes share fences with their neighbors. The maintenance, repair, and replacement of these fences, and the regular maintenance and trimming of vegetation attached to these fences are the responsibility of the owners that share these fences or in the case of vegetation, where the plant originates. If you are unsure whether or not your neighbor has an issue with a plant on your side of the fence that is extending into or over their property, please ask them.
If you contact management by phone to report a concern or question, please make sure that you provide your phone number, so management can get back in touch with you. Thanks,
The next meeting will be held on Monday, March 5, 2007, at 6:30 p.m. at 2021 Paseo Del Sol. Please call management for confirmation. All homeowners are encouraged to attend the quarterly Board meetings. If you are unable to attend the meeting but have something that you would like the Board to discuss, please call or e-mail management, so we can include it on the agenda.
Spring Forward – Daylight Savings Time begins on March 11, 2007.
